NOTES FROM MY SHELF:

The Songs of Ian Brandon

Postponed. Dates TBD.

English songwriter and performer Ian Brandon made San Diego his home a little over a year ago and has rapidly been turning heads and bending ears in our city’s esteemed musical theatre scene.

He’s written everything from parody and comedy numbers to heartfelt, emotional ballads and torch songs. His potential was quickly recognized by professional directors and producers which resulted not only in stand-alone cabaret songs, but also incidental music for plays and films, and fully staged musicals.

Coronado Playhouse is excited to host this World Premiere of Notes From My Shelf.  Joining Ian on the Playhouse stage are Sydney Joyner, Andrew Paiva, Dakota Ringer and Kylie Young, all of whom jumped at the opportunity not only to work with him again, but to explore this never-before-heard material. Joining our San Diego-based artists on stage will be LA’s Tom Lenk (Transformers, Cabin In The Woods, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Workin’ Moms and Rock of Ages on Broadway).
