Are you “In The Mood” to take a “Sentimental Journey” “Under The Apple Tree?” Well come on over to “The Sunny Side Of The Street” as The Coronado Playhouse, in cooperation with Starshine Events & Entertainment, brings you “In The Mood: A Tribute to the USO.” Show times are Saturday, July 5th @ 8:00 PM and Sunday, July 6th at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and proceeds benefit The Coronado Playhouse.

The cast of In the Mood is made up mostly of members of Sweet Charity. Chrissy Burns (Director), David Kelso (Technical Director), Darcy Porter (Carmen), Mitchell Hills (Big Daddy Brubeck), and Jenna Ingrassia (Rosie). Each of them portrays multiple characters throughout the 90 minute trip through old standards and '40s style dance numbers.

Chrissy Burns is the director and choreographer of In The Mood, one of many shows developed by her company Starshine Events & Entertainment. “This is one of the most popular shows on our roster,” says Burns, who started the event and entertainment company last year with her partner David Kelso, “and every time we do it I’m amazed at the response!”
